Hi there, and welcome to Heartfelt Custom Ceremonies! I'm Joan Bogwill, a certified Life-Cycle Celebrant, licensed wedding officiant, and a nondenominational minister. My passion is crafting and officiating heartfelt, one-of-a-kind ceremonies that celebrate love, honor life, and bring people together in the most meaningful way.

After a fulfilling career in education, my husband of 35 years and I have cherished our time with family and enjoyed new adventures as we traveled around the world. Life has taught me that every moment—big or small—is worth celebrating. My own experiences, both joyful and challenging, inspired me to become a certified celebrant through the Celebrant Foundation and Institute, helping others honor their milestones with warmth and meaning. That realization led me to learn how to create custom ceremonies that beautifully reflect each couple's love story or family's journey.
